The restored 1941 steam engine is making a cross country tour to celebrate the 150 years of the Union Pacific Railroad. Fans can get up an close with the 132 foot long, 1.2 million ton locomotive.

I saw the SP 4449 steam train come through thermal across the street from the ranch I was raised on back in 1976.

Today marked a 43 year mark for me and it was a flood of amazing memories.
