JULE’S MARKET, PERFECTLY POSH AND LA QUINTA ROTARY HOSTING A SOLDIER CARE PACKAGE EVENT WITH VETERAN’S RESOURCE FAIR AND FREE NEIGHBORHOOD BBQ

Jule’s Market (www.julesmarket.com) in La Quinta, local Perfectly Posh Independent Consultants and the La Quinta Rotary are hosting a fun-filled afternoon of prize giveaways, on site BBQ and support for our troops. Jule’s Market, located at 78-130 Calle Tampico in La Quinta, will be hosting this community event on Wednesday, June 29th from 4-9pm.

The plan for the event is to build and distribute Warrior Care Packages (WCP) to send to our troops overseas, our Veterans and their families.

SOLDIER CARE PACKAGE EVENT

Perfectly Posh (naturally based pampering products made in the USA) and Jule’s Market are teaming up to send frequently requested items to our men and women in uniform. Participants will be able to earn raffle tickets based on how many items are purchased off the list. Everyone will receive a scavenger hunt map to search for the items around the store. This is a great family-friendly event to get the kids involved in.

A free community BBQ with cake donations from local favorite, Nothing Bundt Cakes, (https://www.nothingbundtcakes.com/bakery/ca/palm-desert) will allow the neighborhood to mingle at the community-centered grocer’s location near Old Town La Quinta.

To showcase veteran support in our area, local veteran service organizations will be on-site to explain multiple services ranging from veteran benefits, outreach services, counseling and more. Confirmed vendors include the Coachella Valley chapter of VAREP (www.varep.net), the Veteran’s Association of Real Estate Professionals; American Outreach Foundation (www.americanoutreachfoundation.com) and SOS Ride (www.sosride.org).

Palms Athletic Club (https://www.palmsathleticclub.com) will be there to offer health and wellness advice to veterans and their families at no cost, as well as offering a free week of training for all veterans and first responders who attend the event.
