Palm Springs City Hall Employee Tests Positive For CORONOVIRUS

A city of Palm Springs employee has tested positive for the coronavirus, forcing the closure of City Hall where the person works, the city announced Tuesday.

City Hall is closed until further notice.

All employees who have had direct exposure to the affected employee have been sent home for quarantine and testing, said Perry Madison, director of Human Resources.

No further information about the employee was released.

It’s unknown when City Hall will reopen
