As the host of the travel show – Traveling With Françoise, and a California native finally there were no more excuses and it was my time to go. The parade was more than I could have imagined and guess what, I’ve been back at least three more times because what you see on television is spectacular; however what you experience in person will be one of the most memorable times of your life!
The excitement in the air is immeasurable; the streets are amassed with people until it’s time for the parade to start and then they miraculously clear. The floats, well, there are no words to describe their beauty, add the lively marching bands, celebrities, horses and a blue skied California morning and life doesn’t get any better than this. After going to the parade you’ll understand why millions of viewers around the world watch it on television and dream of going!
