To offer its guests and locals the best wellness programming, the historic La Quinta Resort & Club is launching new outdoor boxing classes in partnership with global boxing powerhouse BoxUnion this weekend, with a second round of classes slated for the weekend of March 27.

BoxUnion’s expert coaches will guide guests through high-energy boxing cardio classes that incorporate basic boxing movements for all skill levels.

The full body workout utilizes shadowboxing, cardio, strength training and a dedicated abs section.

All fitness levels welcomed. No equipment, fitness or boxing experience necessary — your coach will teach you everything you need to know to find your inner fighter.

45-minute classes will be offered on select weekend afternoons and mornings in March, including:

Boxing with Coach Lo:

Saturday, March 13, 4:00 p.m.
Sunday, March 14, 10:00 a.m

Boxing with Coach Larry

Saturday, March 27, 4:00 p.m.
Sunday, March 28, 10:00 a.m.

Classes are $20 for La Quinta Resort guests and $25 for locals. To reserve a spot, visit www.laquintaresort.com/boxunion. Mats will be provided, and no additional equipment is required
