Southern and Central California likely to have lockdown orders extended while Northern California Regions remain mostly open, as well as California Casinos regardless of the Region they operate in.
State officials are expected to extend the strictest stay-at-home orders in central and Southern California as the stated ICU Capacity is below 15%.
The stay-at-home orders for the San Joaquin Valley and Southern California are set to expire today, Monday — they were first imposed on Dec. 6, three weeks ago — but Gov. Gavin Newsom has signaled they would be extended.
Northern California’s ICU capacity projections are at 28.3%, while the Southern California and San Joaquin Valley projections are 0%. The Greater Sacramento region stands at 17.8% and the Bay Area is at 11.1%, state figures show.
Here in the Coachella Valley Health inspectors, armed Alcohol licensing authorities and more stepped up enforcement at local restaurants and shopping areas / malls over the Christmas Holiday Season to enforce the Lockdown in some areas.
