The Inaugural Yum Food Fest held in the Coachella Valley at the Upperdeck of the Westfield Palm Desert Mall sees huge crowds attend tonight under the moon & stars.
Organizers pre-sold 2,200 tickets with hundreds in line buying entrance passes from the opening at 4pm. They just texted me near 9pm while I am writing this article to tell The Coachellavalley.com[2] they just hit over 7,000 people!
The festival, sporting live music, food trucks, family fun, rows of vendors, beer garden, game zone and lots of places to sit and enjoy all the edible delights runs till 11pm.
The $5 entry fee drew interested parties from all throughout the Coachella Valley and beyond on Saturday. Some came to be a foodie for a day and try the many different selections. Other attendees enjoyed the unique vendors selling gear and products throughout the venue.
Live music was playing in multiple areas. There was a car show and a couple Teslas on display. Full bar and Draft Beer was available. It was nice you could take your drinks with you anywhere on the grounds.
There were game zones and plenty of families were taking advantage of the beautiful evening and venue that looked over the Coachella Valley from the upperdeck of the Westerly Parking Structure of the Now Operating under Forecloser Westfield Mall[3] in Palm Desert!
Coachellavalley.com had a great time being a Very Important Foodie ( VIF) for the day and evening! We thank the organizers for the amazing access to share this event with you!
