Wind Advisory Issued For Pass Area, Coachella Valley

The NWS issued a wind advisory that will be in effect from 4 p.m. Monday through 9 a.m. Tuesday.

The mountains and the Riverside metropolitan area have a 50% chance of measurable precipitation Monday, while the San Gorgonio Pass has a 20% chance, forecasters said.

The mountains could get three-tenths of an inch of rain, while the Inland Empire is expected to get between one-tenth and two-tenths of an inch of rain, according to the NWS. The San Gorgonio Pass is forecast to get less than one-tenth of an inch of rain.

The NWS issued a wind advisory that will be in effect from 4 p.m. Monday through 9 a.m. Tuesday in the mountains, the San Gorgonio Pass and the Coachella Valley.
