Wildlights returns for the Holidays
WildLights Returns to The Living Desert for the Holidays!
Recognized in the Top 5 Best Zoo Lights by USA Today, WildLights at The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens is a magical winter wonderland, complete with twinkling lights, dazzling light displays, and holiday fun. It is the perfect way to get into the holiday spirit and make lasting memories with friends and family.

WildLights’ pathways take guests on an illuminated journey around the Zoo with endless awe-inspiring sights and festive photo opportunities. Guests can go for a spin on the carousel, enjoy themed treats, take a free, souvenir photo with Santa, and much more. In true WildLights tradition, the G-scale model trains, with more than 3,300 feet of track, will be decked out for the holidays.
WildLights is open on the following days in December: 2-3, 9-10, 16-24, 26-30. It is closed on Christmas Day.

Advanced reservations are required for both members and guests. We recommend purchasing tickets as far in advance as you can, as we anticipate this event selling out. Tickets may be purchased above or by calling (760) 346-5694.

Get your tickets here: GENERAL TICKETS MEMBER TICKETS Parking is free in the Zoo’s main parking lot, but spaces can fill up quickly. Plan to carpool and/or use a rideshare service to save time. Overflow parking is located on Portola Avenue, Haystack Avenue, and Buckboard Avenue.

Guests of all ages will be able to pose with Santa for photos through December 24th. Santa will then depart for the North Pole on Christmas Day and will not be at WildLights on December 26th – 30th.
