PALM DESERT/INDIAN WELLS, CA – (December 18, 2018[1]) – WildLights at The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens will be open nightly beginning Wednesday, December 19 through Monday, December 24, from 6 p.m. to 9 p.m. with last admission at 8:30 [2]p.m.

WildLights transforms the zoo and gardens into a twinkling winter wonderland of more than a million lights. Guests will revel at the festive tunnel of lights synchronized to holiday music, the life-sized herd of illuminated animal lanterns, and the holiday-themed edition of the G-scale model train display.

This year The Living Desert welcomes visitors through its new entrance, which has greatly improved access and flow into the Zoo. Guests can explore new pathways and light displays throughout the African section of the park and meet many of the Zoo’s African animals including cheetah, zebra, and giraffe. Animal encounters and keeper chats, camel and carousel rides, and entertainment also take place nightly.
