Palm Desert Food & Wine invites you behind the scenes for an exclusive culinary journey celebrating California’s most iconic fruit — the date. This intimate experience takes guests into the Coachella Valley’s thriving date industry to explore its rich heritage and modern artistry.
Joined by celebrity chefs and led by industry experts, guests will board a comfortable shuttle and travel to Hadley Date Gardens and The Packhouse at Aziz Farms. These two cornerstone destinations will showcase the craftsmanship, innovation, and history behind one of the desert’s most celebrated crops. You’ll stroll among towering palms, see how dates go from field to table, meet the growers shaping the future of sustainable agriculture, and experience how this ancient fruit inspires contemporary cuisine.
A highlight of the day is a delicious alfresco lunch set beneath the canopy of date palms — an unforgettable farm-to-table experience that celebrates the season’s freshest flavors, the desert’s natural beauty, and includes plenty of photo-worthy moments.
Transportation is provided throughout the experience, with round-trip shuttle service departing from and returning to The Gardens on El Paseo.

Watch Now Live- Happening Tonight – Palm Springs VillageFest, the City’s wildly popular street fair which prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, was held every Thursday night in downtown, will return on Thursday, July 1. Coachella Valley!
With COVID-19 cases significantly down, the City Council approved re-opening VillageFest at their last night meeting, with a smaller footprint and safety protocols in place. The street fair is expected to expand to its original length in the coming months. During the summer, VillageFest hours of operation will be 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.
