The 21st Annual Desert Smash Celebrity-Tennis Charity Event 2025 is scheduled for March 3-4, 2025, at the La Quinta Resort & Club in La Quinta, California.

This renowned charity event unites Hollywood celebrities and professional athletes for two days of tennis and pickleball, all in support of the WTA Foundation’s Global Women’s Health Fund.

Event Highlights:

• Celebrity Hosts and Participants: The event will feature an impressive lineup of world-class tennis professionals and celebrities, including Naomi Osaka, Nick Kyrgios, Ons Jabeur, Aryna Sabalenka, Holger Rune, Mike & Bob Bryan, Jason Derulo, Mustard, Gavin Rossdale, Nicole Ari Parker, Yvonne Orji, Sam Asghari, and Colton Underwood.

• Pickleball Challenge: Building on last year’s success, the 2025 Desert Smash will include a Celebrity Pickleball Challenge hosted by the Miami Pickleball Club. Attendees can look forward to dynamic pickleball matches featuring stars and athletes.

• Nutrition Sponsorship: Herbalife has been announced as the first-ever Official Nutrition Sponsor for the event. They will present an exclusive Nutrition Lounge, offering guests a VIP experience with a selection of their quality, science-backed products.

In its 21st year, the Desert Smash is the world’s most famous celebrity tennis event that brings together Hollywood and Pro Tennis for charity, and this year will be no exception!

For 20 years, Desert Smash has become renowned as the unofficial kickoff to the BNP Paribas Open and has proudly raised millions of dollars for charitable causes, which can be greatly attributed to celebrities and tennis professionals who generously donate their time and participation in the name of philanthropy.

Notable past participants include Charlize Theron, Will Ferrell, Justin Bieber, Kevin Hart, Serena Williams, Novak Djokovic, Stan Wawrinka, Casper Ruud, Emma Raducanu and Frances Tiafoe among others.

In 2025, Desert Smash will welcome new and returning talent to the pickleball and tennis courts at La Quinta Resort & Club for two-days of on-court fun battling for a good cause. Among the early Tour players who generously are donating their time and are confirmed to participate are: Ons Jabeur, Qinwen Zheng, and Alexander Zverev, with more names to be announced soon!

New for this year, Desert Smash will be partnering with Hexclad to offer ticketholders a true culinary experience at the inaugural “Hexclad Cuisine Court,”  which will offer an all-inclusive array of Top Chef-inspired culinary offerings as part of the remarkable daytime experience at Desert Smash.

The world-famous Desert Smash Celebrity-Pro Tennis Exhibition is also set to be supported by a suite of luxury early sponsors, including Maestro Dobel Tequila, HEAD, Herbalife, Mecum Auctions, Thatcher’s Wine, ROAR Organic, among others.

The afternoon event, held at the beatiful La Quinta Resort Stadium Tennis Court, is buzzing with amazing desert energy, music and good vibes.
