The World-Famous Clydesdales Return

PALM DESERT, Calif. (April 15, 2022) – El Paseo Shopping District will once again welcome the world-famous Budweiser Clydesdales on Wednesday, April 27.
They will be making beer deliveries to restaurants along the avenue, prior to making their arrival at the Stagecoach Country Music Festival.
The iconic draught horses will be unloaded and hitched on the frontage road parallel to Highway 74, behind the Daily Grill, beginning at 1:00 p.m., and begin their journey down El Paseo at 2 p.m.
The eight-horse hitch and red Budweiser beer wagon will be accompanied by the Dalmatian “coach dog,” bred and trained to protect the regal horses and guard the beer wagon.
This event is free and open to the public to watch along the route or while having lunch at one of the many restaurant patios.
With nine blocks covering over a mile, El Paseo offers an abundance of dining and shopping options with more than 200 shops and businesses, and an abundance of exceptional restaurant options from casual dining and American cuisine, to fine dining and extraordinary cuisine.
Among the many celebrated retailers are boutiques for men and women, art galleries, home furnishings, and accessories from shoes and handbags to fine jewelry, collectibles, and more.

With COVID-19 cases significantly down, the City Council approved re-opening VillageFest at their last night meeting, with a smaller footprint and safety protocols in place. The street fair is expected to expand to its original length in the coming months. During the summer, VillageFest hours of operation will be 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.
