PALM SPRINGS, Calif. — Palm Springs once again became the center of the electronic-music world this August as Splash House 2026 wrapped up two weekends of poolside parties, late-night dancing and desert hospitality.
Splash House 2026 brought thousands of music fans to the city for a combination of poolside DJ sets, hotel parties and late-night performances at the Palm Springs Air Museum. From Aug. 7–9 and Aug. 14–16, three hotels became the center of the festival experience, while some of the biggest names in electronic music supplied the soundtrack.
It was classic Splash House: music, swimming pools, mountain views and a steady stream of visitors moving through Palm Springs from afternoon into the early morning.
A Festival Built Around Palm Springs
Unlike traditional music festivals that concentrate everything inside a single fenced-in venue, Splash House makes the city part of the show.
In 2026, daytime programming took place at the Saguaro Palm Springs, Renaissance Palm Springs and Hilton Palm Springs. Fans moved between the properties throughout the day, following artists and DJs while taking advantage of the hotels’ pools and resort atmosphere.
At night, the action shifted to the Palm Springs Air Museum, where the festival’s After Hours events provided a dramatic backdrop of historic aircraft and the surrounding desert.
That format has become one of Splash House’s defining characteristics—and one of the reasons the event feels less like a conventional music festival and more like a Palm Springs weekend built around music.
Alison Wonderland, KETTAMA and More Lead the Lineup
The Splash House 2026 lineup delivered a mix of established electronic acts, rising artists and DJs representing house, techno, bass and other corners of dance music.
Among the prominent names were Alison Wonderland, KETTAMA, ALLEYCVT, Whethan, Mall Grab, Prospa, Tsu Nami, OMNOM, D.O.D., Layton Giordani and Whipped Cream.
Alison Wonderland was among the most recognizable headliners, while artists such as KETTAMA and Mall Grab brought an international club sensibility to the desert.

The breadth of the lineup also helped maintain the festival’s reputation as a discovery-oriented event. Rather than relying exclusively on superstar acts, Splash House continues to give fans opportunities to see artists who are building momentum across the electronic music scene.
The Hilton Becomes Part of Splash House
One of the most noticeable changes for Splash House Palm Springs 2026 was the addition of the Hilton Palm Springs.

The property replaced the Riviera as one of the festival’s three daytime venues, joining the Saguaro and Renaissance.
The change is significant because hotels aren’t simply accommodations during Splash House—they are effectively part of the festival grounds. Guests can stay where they party, making the hotel experience a central component of the event.
That relationship between Splash House and Palm Springs’ hotel industry is one of the festival’s greatest economic strengths.
A Summer Boost for Palm Springs Businesses
Splash House arrives during one of Palm Springs’ hottest and traditionally quieter stretches of the year, making its economic contribution particularly important.
Visitors spend money well beyond the festival gates. Hotel rooms, restaurants, bars, rideshare services, retail stores and other local businesses all benefit from the influx.

Local reporting during the second weekend highlighted the boost the event was providing to Palm Springs businesses as thousands of visitors arrived for the festival.
There is not yet a publicly released official dollar figure for Splash House’s 2026 economic impact, so any specific estimate would be speculative. But the event takes place within a tourism economy that generated an estimated $9.6 billion in economic impact across the Greater Coachella Valley Area in 2025.
For local businesses, Splash House offers something especially valuable: a major visitor event during the summer months, when the desert heat can otherwise make tourism more challenging.
Why Splash House Matters to Palm Springs
The festival’s influence isn’t simply measured in ticket sales.
Splash House has helped establish Palm Springs as a destination for a younger generation of travelers who might not otherwise choose the city for a summer weekend.
The event also gives the city a recognizable identity within the electronic-music world without attempting to replicate the scale of Coachella.
That distinction matters.

Splash House isn’t a sprawling festival with dozens of stages and hundreds of thousands of attendees. Its appeal comes from its relatively intimate scale and its integration with Palm Springs itself.
The hotels, pools, streets, restaurants and Air Museum all become pieces of the experience.
Looking Ahead to Splash House 2027
With the 2026 festival now wrapped, attention naturally turns to Splash House 2027.
Official 2027 dates have not yet been announced. Greater Palm Springs’ event information currently directs visitors to check back for next year’s dates.

Splash House’s loyalty program, however, is already offering returning fans exclusive access to a 2027 presale, signaling that preparations for the next edition are underway.
If the festival follows its established format, fans can expect another summer weekend—or weekends—built around Palm Springs hotels, poolside electronic music and After Hours at the Air Museum. For now, though, the official dates and lineup remain a story for another day.

The Splash House Effect
The most lasting image from Splash House 2026 may not be a particular DJ set.
It may be the sight of Palm Springs itself transformed around the event: hotel pools filled with music fans, visitors moving between venues under the August sun, restaurants and businesses welcoming festival crowds, and aircraft at the Palm Springs Air Museum illuminated against the night sky.

That is the Splash House formula.
It is part music festival, part hotel weekend and part Palm Springs tourism campaign—and after more than a decade, it has become one of the city’s signature summer events.
For two weekends, the desert was dancing.
Now Palm Springs waits to see what Splash House brings next.
