Shadow Hills High School Seniors Rise and Shine, Over A Hundred Return To Campus & Celebrate!
Senior sunrise is an annual event hosted by schools across the country to welcome seniors into their last year of high school. During this event, students come to school to watch the sunrise with their friends and have a good time. It is a great opportunity to sit back and take it all in, as well as take pictures to remember your high school days.
Unfortunately due to the pandemic Senior Sunrise High School events have been postponed or cancelled on campuses throughout the country. But the Senior Class of 2021 at Shadow Hills High School in Indio, California were determined to Rise and Shine this morning and had a very unique senior sunrise experience.

You can click the Live Stream from this morning’s event and see all the fun and celebration for yourself. Just Click the Video above and turn your volume up!
The event began at 6 a.m. with cars pulling in the Football Stadium parking lot into socially distant marked parking spaces. Each student was treated to a very special Shadow Hills High School Mask and yummy Donuts.
This event usually occurs at the start of the school year for most high schools. After a lot of hard work, planning and special approvals, this year’s postponed event saw over a hundred students enjoy this tradition in their own unique way physically on the school campus together. The tradition continues!
Seniors were required to wear a mask and HAD TO STAY 6 feet away from each other regardless if you have had previous interactions and remain in their vehicles during the event.

We were all treated to an amazing Sunrise which we caught Live for you around 6:20 a.m.
We understand that things are not as they normally are this school year and we want to help make it better for you. As long as things remain as they are, we hope to plan more events to help make your senior year a memorable one. We hope you enjoy your day at school and your 2021 SENIOR SUNRISE.
