February 6, 2023, Indian Wells, CA – Nobu Indian Wells will permanently open on a year-round basis to the general public beginning on Monday February 13, it was announced today. The world-famous Japanese restaurant located in Stadium 2 of the Indian Wells Tennis Garden will open its doors to diners year-round, serving up its world-famous dishes outside the annual tournament dates for the first time.

The award-winning restaurant debuted at the 2014 BNP Paribas Open as part of the expansive venue construction project that resulted in a permanent Stadium 2 and has been a staple attraction at the tournament ever since. With dining space overlooking the court, Nobu is a fan-favorite amenity in Tennis Paradise every March, allowing fans to enjoy exquisitely prepared cuisine from globally acclaimed Chef Nobu Matsuhisa while watching world-class tennis.

“Nobu’s annual presence at the BNP Paribas Open epitomizes our tournament’s commitment to offering unparalleled amenities for fans visiting Tennis Paradise, and we are thrilled that the restaurant’s critically-acclaimed cuisine will now be available to locals and visitors year-round,” said Desert Champions Chief Marketing Officer Philippe Dore. “Nobu’s permanent location at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden will play an integral role in ensuring that Tennis Paradise remains a must-see destination for tennis fans and travelers, both during the two weeks of the BNP Paribas Open and beyond.”

Nobu Indian Wells’ move to a year-round permanent fixture will allow the Coachella Valley to indulge in the restaurant’s signature culinary offerings beyond the BNP Paribas Open. Local valley residents as well as visitors from around the world will be able to enjoy Nobu’s blend of traditional Japanese dishes with a South American influence, including favorites such as Black Cod with Miso, Rock Shrimp Tempura with Creamy Spicy Sauce, and Yellowtail Jalapeño.
