Local Artist to Bring Springtime to Life at Agua Caliente Resort Casino Spa Rancho Mirage

Staff & Wire Reports from MarraIntel.com

Agua Caliente Resort Casino Spa Rancho Mirage has commissioned Coachella Valley local, Autumn Martino, to help bring Spring to life via a huge painting located inside the resort casino.  The painting, which will be located near the hotel lobby, is meant to celebrate new beginnings and a hopeful future. Guests will be encouraged to take photos with the painting to post on their social media channels helping spread the positive message.

“We choose this talented local artist due to her beautiful representation of our Desert in her work, and for her even more amazing personality. Autumn is a true gem to work with and we couldn’t be happier to have partnered with her on this exclusive piece for all Valley residents to enjoy,” shared Darrel Kammeyer, Vice President of Marketing for Agua Caliente Casino.

Autumn Martino knew at a very young age that she had an artistic side and has been developing the artistic fire ever since. She attributes her love of art to her mother, who has been a strong force helping channel Autumn’s energy into the artist she is now. Martino also gives thanks to all the wonderful people she has met along the way, who have given her inspiration, opportunities, help and support.

Martino’s first recognition was in 6th grade when she won her first art contest for the City of Palm Desert. Since then, her art has been published in books, put on display in galleries and art shows around the Valley, and at the Palm Springs Art Museum.

Autumn explores all outlets of art, but mostly focuses on painting. Ranging from oil, acrylic, spray paint, watercolor, caricatures, face painting, and murals. Her art is inspired by the beauty and culture of the Desert. She uses vibrant color and organic form to create a unique style classified as Figurative Expressionism.

“I love to find the beauty in everything, as the world is full of beautiful things. God has always provided me a guiding light with art and has brought so many wonderful opportunities and people into my life along this journey. I am truly thankful and blessed,” Martino said about her work.
