Justify, the three year old, led wire to wire and wins by two lengths in an exhilerating race for the CROWN.
“JUSTIFY” is only the 13th horse in history to win the Triple Crown — and follows American Pharoah, who pulled off a win in 2015 after a 35-year drought.

We have a Triple Crown winner for the Second time in 4 yrs and Second time in 40 yrs.
The Triple Crown is a rare feat that sees a racehorse win the Kentucky Derby, Preakness Stakes and Belmont Stakes all in the same year.
That’s three races in 5 weeks at three different venues, race lengths and track conditions.

While there have been many horses who have come close to reaching that achievement, many end up falling short at the Belmont Stakes — which, this year was not the case. $1.5 million purse was on the line.
Triple Crowns seem to come in bunches. 3 in the 30’s 4 in the yhe 40’s 3 in the the 70’s and now 2 now in the 10’s.
