I Heart JT Benefit Dinner & Auction: A Night to Protect the Park We Love
Beneath the wide desert sky, Joshua trees rise like ancient storytellers. Joshua Tree National Park is more than a destination—it is a sanctuary, a source of inspiration, and a reminder of what wild beauty feels like when city noise fades away.
Each year, millions of people come here to recharge. Some escape Los Angeles for a weekend under the stars, while others who live nearby find daily renewal in its trails and vistas. No matter how you arrive, the desert offers peace and clarity that is increasingly rare.

The Association Behind the Magic
For over 60 years, the Joshua Tree National Park Association (JTNPA) has worked alongside the National Park Service to care for this remarkable place. The association operates visitor centers, publishes guides, and supports Desert Institute classes in geology, botany, and art. Through these efforts, visitors connect more deeply to the desert and learn how to help protect it.
However, as federal resources shrink and visitation grows, the need for support is urgent. Without community contributions, youth education, wildlife research, trail maintenance, and interpretive services simply cannot flourish. Fortunately, there is a solution. When we come together, our collective love for Joshua Tree provides what the park cannot do alone.

The I Heart JT Benefit Dinner & Auction
That is why the I Heart JT Benefit Dinner & Auction is so important. On Saturday, November 1, 2025, from 5–8 p.m. at the historic 29 Palms Inn, the community will gather for an evening of purpose and celebration.
Guests will enjoy a delicious dinner, live music beneath desert skies, and an open bar. In addition, inspiring speakers will share stories of how JTNPA programs change lives and protect fragile ecosystems. The evening concludes with a spirited live auction, where every bid directly fuels the park’s future.
Consider the impact: a child exploring the desert for the first time through a school program, a researcher studying how climate change affects Joshua trees, or a restored trail welcoming the next hiker. Every ticket purchased and every donation given makes stories like these possible.

An Invitation for All Who Love Joshua Tree
This invitation extends to anyone who cherishes Joshua Tree National Park—locals, weekend visitors, and those who dream of the desert from afar. If you escape city life to stargaze, or if the desert has ever calmed your spirit, this night is for you.
Of course, not everyone can attend in person. Yet, you can still play a part by contributing from wherever you are. Even the smallest gift helps ensure the desert remains a sanctuary for generations to come.

Answering the Call Together
The I Heart JT Benefit Dinner & Auction is more than a fundraiser—it is a promise to protect what we love. By uniting in generosity and action, we safeguard the wild beauty that has given so much to us.
