IT’S OFFICIAL Coachella Valley Is Getting It’s First Professional Sports Team

The American Hockey League has awarded its 32nd Franchise to Palm Springs, which will take the ice in 2021 at the New 10,000 seat Arena at Agua Caliente in Palm Springs. This new Franchise will be the official affiliate of the National Hockey League’s newest expansion team in Seattle. Place a deposit to reserve your season tickets.

During the news conference, Mayor Robert Moon emphasized that the arena design is pulling from the modernist architecture that the valley is known for, and that it will primarily be built underground, so as to not obscure the mountain views that the community values.
