Each Year
The Do LaB art collective holds a unique position in the Coachella ecosystem, designing huge structures for the festival that double as art installations and performance spaces, bringing their unique, colorful aesthetic to the Empire Polo Grounds. Originally known as the “Misting Oasis,” because of the Do LaB’s trademark use of super-soaker-sized misters to douse the crowd, the organic structures change every year. This year, they built the massive Big Fish. Here it is, in time-lapse.
