GRAMMY AWARD WINNING VOCALIST LISA FISCHER AND GRAND BATON TO PERFORM AT 2015 DESERT LEXUS JAZZ FESTIVAL PRESENTED BY THE CITY OF INDIAN WELLS

Tickets Go On Sale To Public January 14, 2015

Indian Wells, Calif., December 3, 2014 – Grammy Award winning vocalist Lisa Fischer will kick off the evening for Desert Lexus Jazz presented by the City of Indian Wells, a premier concert event in the Coachella Valley for the past 15 years to be held at the Indian Wells Tennis Garden on Saturday, May 2. Tickets for the event, featuring several of the most exciting performers in contemporary jazz, will go on sale January 14, 2015.

A touring member of The Rolling Stones for the past 25 years and known for her amazing duets with Mick Jagger on “Gimme Shelter,” and other Stones classics, Fischer is one of the most respected voices in music, touring and recording sessions with the likes of Tina Turner, Chaka Khan and Beyonce. Fischer is also one of the co-stars of last year’s Academy Award winning documentary “20 Feet From Stardom.”

“I’m excited to visit the City of Indian Wells and perform at this amazing venue,” said Fischer. “Each year the Desert Lexus Jazz Festival attracts exceptional artists and I’m extremely proud to have been asked to participate this year.”

The event will be held under the Indian Wells Tennis Garden’s shade pavilion, offering seating for 2,000 patrons. In addition to music, the evening will also feature an assortment of food, wine and art. Reserved and VIP seating will be available.
