Fans attending an upcoming screening of “Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks” at the Cinémas Palme D’Or theater are in for a treat.
The Palm Desert theater will host legendary actress Gena Rowlands at a screening of the film Saturday, Jan. 17 at 6:30 p.m.
Rowlands will stick around after the film to participate in a Q&A.
The film stars Rowlands as a women who hires a young man to teach her how to dance, but it turns into a meaningful relationship. “Six Dance Lessons in Six Weeks” also stars Cheyenne Jackson, Julian Sands, Jacki Weaver and Rita Moreno.
Fun fact: The film is directed by Arthur Allan Seidelman, who also made the Arnold Schwarzenegger film “Hercules in New York.”
