1. There was a stage coach stop in Cathedral City, behind where Target is now located. 2. This Real Estate Office sat at the corner of Hwy 111 and Cathedral Canyon. Note the totem pole on the right corner and the Chinese arch to the left. Taco Bell now sits at this site. 3. This was the first diner in Cathedral City. It sat where the Taco Bell sits today at the corner of Hwy 111 and Cathedral Canyon. 4. Torres-Martinez Indian community schoolhouse built in 1907. Considered the oldest standing Indian Agency buildings in California. 5. Palm Springs 1921 6. McCallum Adobe 1884 7. Palm Springs Post office 1898 8. Palm Canyon at Andreas – 1930 9. 1930’s – One of the earliest and certainly most picturesque Date stands was the Black Tent at 1652 S. Palm Canyon Drive. 10. Salton Sea 1920 11.
