FAMILY YMCA OF THE DESERT’S HOEDOWN AT SUNDOWN

KICK UP YOUR BOOTS FOR A CAUSE

Saturday, November 1, 2025 at Indian Wells Country Club

In the heart of Palm Desert lies a cornerstone of community and care for our valley’s most valuable assets – our kids. The Family YMCA of the Desert, the Coachella Valley’s largest provider of licensed childcare and a proud equal‑opportunity institution, fosters core values like caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility, while nurturing social skills, confidence, leadership, and physical fitness.

This signature event is one of the most vibrant ways to support their mission.

Dust off your boots and grab your hat—the 38th Annual Hoedown at Sundown is riding into the Indian Wells Country Club on Saturday, November 1, 2025. It’s shaping up to be the party of the season. Guests will enjoy live music, cocktails, dancing, savory BBQ, and a spirited auction—all under the glow of a desert sunset. This is where community meets cowboy, and where fun directly fuels a life-changing mission.

The Family YMCA of the Desert, the largest licensed childcare provider in the Coachella Valley, has long shaped young lives. Their programs build character, confidence, leadership, and lifelong values. Once a year, however, the Y gathers its extended family—friends, supporters, and newcomers—for a boot-stomping celebration. The Hoedown raises vital funds to keep programs accessible to every child.

What to Expect:

• Cocktail hour begins at 5:30 PM, offering plenty of time to mingle, sip, and browse silent auction treasures.
• A hearty BBQ dinner served with Western flair.
• Music and dancing that will keep the energy high all night.
• A live auction packed with one-of-a-kind experiences and unique items.

Clearly, this is more than just an event—it’s an experience. Generous sponsors and donors make it possible, and they step up each year as true Hoedown Heroes. Their contributions keep tuition assistance flowing and youth programs strong.

Why it Matters:

Every ticket sold and every auction bid helps local kids thrive. The YMCA provides safe childcare and programs that strengthen families. When you join the Hoedown, you enjoy a night of fun while investing in brighter futures.

Ways to Join the Fun:

• Attend: Individual TICKETS are $200. Or, round up your friends and reserve a table of ten for $2,000.
• Sponsor: Businesses can boost visibility while fueling youth programs. Sponsorships and in-kind donations are always welcome.
• Donate: Can’t make it? You can still give. Contributions and auction items earn you a place at the heart of the cause.

Round Up for a Good Cause!

The YMCA of the Desert has been a trusted partner to families for decades. It reinforces caring, honesty, respect, and responsibility while making sure no child is turned away. With your help, that tradition continues.

This year’s Hoedown at Sundown promises unforgettable fun. Better yet, your ticket, sponsorship, or donation ensures kids and families get the support they need.

So shine your boots, call your friends, and get ready to kick up your heels. On November 1, when the sun goes down, the party begins—and every dance, laugh, and auction bid helps build stronger futures here in the Coachella Valley.
