Band members Don Henley, Joe Walsh and Timothy B. Schmit, with Vince Gill will open for Acrisure Arena’s grand opening concert on the night of Feb. 24, 2023, according to a statement from Acrisure Arena!

This was Acrisure Arena’s 2nd Press Conference in a week and held from the Cantina in Indio, California Monday morning. Arena officials and guests announced upcoming performances from:

Last Tuesday we were in Palm Springs, California and learned the Eagles are set for the Grand Opening in January and that the Arena is opening in December to AHL hockey and to these upcoming Live Concert Dates:

• The Doobie Brothers on December 15
• Grupo Firme on December 16 – SOLD OUT
• Maroon 5 on December 31
• The Eagles on January 18
• Jimmy Buffett – date to be announced

PALM SPRINGS, CA (September 20, 2022) – Acrisure Arena, the newest world-class venue in Southern California, today announced its inaugural lineup of artists set to perform when the $300M+ venue opens in December 2022. The first announced artists are iconic rock act The Doobie Brothers on December 15; regional Mexican phenomenon, Grupo Firme on December 16; Grammy Award-winning sensational rock/pop band Maroon 5 on December 31; Rock N’ Roll Hall of Famers Eagles on January 18; and renowned singer/songwriter, actor, best-selling author, and businessman Jimmy Buffett is to be announced.

Tickets for Grupo Firme will go on sale on Friday, September 23, at 10am PT at https://www.Ticketmaster.com.

Tickets for the other concerts announced today will go on sale at a later date and will be announced on AcrisureArena.com. Additional opening week details and events will be shared in the coming weeks.

Acrisure Arena will celebrate its official grand opening on January 18 with the legendary band Eagles. At Acrisure Arena’s official groundbreaking in June 2021, Eagles guitarist Joe Walsh announced the band would be the first to formally open the anticipated arena. For Eagles January 18 Acrisure Arena show date, the band’s concert will feature Hotel California, performed live in its entirety from start to finish, accompanied by an orchestra and choir. After a short intermission, the band will perform a full set of their greatest hits.

Coming to Acrisure Arena on December 15, The Doobie Brothers have run the gamut from mainstream rock to blue-eyed soul. The Doobie Brother’s tour dates, which include their 2017 Summer Tour, 2015 Southbound Tour, and stretch back all the way to their 1983 Farewell Tour, have taken them across North America and seen them unite with powerhouse rock performers like Chicago, Lynyrd Skynyrd, Ted Nugent and more. Throughout their many incarnations, The Doobie Brothers have been known for their eclectic rock sound, fused with elements of country, R&B, and folk music, along with their impressive vocal harmonization. The latter gained the group entry into the Vocal Group Hall Of Fame in 2004, while the former has seen the band sell some 40 million albums over their five-plus decades in existence. In concert, The Doobie Brothers thrill with their combination of electrifying guitar work, tight group vocals, and the occasional saxophone solo as well.
