DSUSD English Teacher dies of COVID-19 complications at just 32 years old

Desert Sands Unified spokeswoman Mary Perry confirmed Monday night that Shadow Hills High School English teacher, Christopher Trujillo, died Saturday due to complications from the coronavirus.
Trujillo, is the first credentialed teacher in Desert Sands Unified to die from COVID-19 related illness, said Desert Sands Teachers Association President Trina Gonzales-Alesi.
