The $6.7 million American Express begins Thursday at the PGA WEST Pete Dye Stadium Course and Nicklaus Tournament Course in La Quinta, Calif. and awards $1,134,000 to Sunday’s champion. Andrew Landry is the tournament’s defending champion. GOLF Channel will provide live coverage of each round of The American Express (Thursday-Sunday) from 12-4 p.m. PT.

Landry earned his second PGA TOUR win in his 80th career TOUR start Sunday at the Stadium Course at PGA WEST in La Quinta, Calif. and collected a winner’s prize of $1,206,000 (from a $6.7 million purse) and 500 FedExCup points, vaulting him to No. 17 in the PGA TOUR’s FedExCup standings.

Landry’s 5-under 67 on Sunday was aided by birdies on the par-3 17th (6’ 10” putt) and par-4 18th (6’ putt) holes.
