“Culture Club” Cancels Tour, Agua Caliente Will Issue Full Refunds to Ticket Holders

Culture Club officials announced this morning that the tour will be permanently canceled. Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa to issue full refunds to purchased ticket holders. This cancellation regretfully includes the November 15 concert at Agua Caliente, scheduled as the first performance of their North American Tour.

Agua Caliente officials received word this morning that Culture Club will permanently cancel their North American Tour. The casino announced the cancellation of the November 15 show yesterday, in anticipation of a rescheduled date in the future. The casino is currently issuing full refunds of the purchased ticket price through their provider, Star Tickets. If ticket holders have refund questions they can call, 1-800-585-3737.

Yesterday, ticket holders were given an option to hold their tickets for 30 days should a future show date be announced. Agua Caliente Casino Resort Spa’s Executive Director of Marketing, Kari Stout-Smith noted: “we continue to wish Boy George a speedy recovery and are naturally disappointed that we are not able to present Culture Club to the Coachella Valley.”

According to Culture Club’s management- “It is with great regret that the members of Culture Club have announced the permanent cancellation of the tour in North America.” Doctors prefer to see how lead singer, Boy George, responds to surgery for removal of vocal cord polyps.
