One of the many events that compose the four day Frank Sinatra Celebrity Golf Invitational, the luncheon fashion show at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino draws guests from around the valley to share a spectacular afternoon to benefit the Barbara Sinatra Children’s Center at Eisenhower.
Ladies and gentleman gathered to show their support for this venerable organization and dressed for the occasion in colorful fashions celebrating in daytime party style. Couture suits and chic dresses could be seen floating through the silent auction and shopping gallery setting their sights on a bevy of luxurious furs, exquisite jewelry, and decorative Swarovski cocktail purses. The stand out accessory worn by “those in the know” seemed to be a coveted chapeau. Dress hats, Fascinators and Sinatra’s signature Fedora reigned as event statement pieces.
Guests entered into a grande room transformed by soft lighting and elegant table settings in pink and white to delight the crowd who gathered to socialize, many longtime friends and supports of the Sinatra’s.

Mrs. Sinatra graciously greeted those in attendance thanking atalier Lourdes Chavez and sponsor Starkey Hearing Technologies.
Following delectable dishes such as Insalata Caprese. Chicken Carciofini, Boursin Pesto Salmon and Strawberry Napolean, the much anticipated fashion show was presented by Troy featuring designer Lourdes Chavez. The stunning collection captured the essence of sophisticated fashion choices suitable for resort, city, and special occasion. Subtle pastels, silks, lace, swathed the runway in a sea of beauty. Even the black and white, well-tailored lines, were given a breath of freshness and femininity. Setting the tone for each fashion vignette, the segments in the show transitioned to favorite tunes honoring Frank Sinatra. The entertaining event fittingly ended with the iconic song, “That’s Life” and what a fun experience to share in the benefit of children of the Coachella Valley.
