Coachella Valley Team spent the day racing, photographing and interviewing race legends during the 2 day Petersen Invitational Saturday held at the exclusive Thermal Club near the Thermal Airport off 62nd Street in Thermal, California.

The entire team was treated to racing behind the wheel, in some of the highest performance Manufactuer cars available today from LOTUS, BMW, LEXUS, PORSCHE on the Thermal Club’s challenging Autocross track.
Then we headed over to the main 4.5 mile private race track and enjoyed ride alongs at 150 – 160+ mph in Lamborghini and Lotus race machines. All 4.5 miles of the Thermal Club’s exquisite racetrack are designed to push both amateurs and professionals to their limit, giving members the thrill of driving at peak performance amidst the endless desert skies.

Between the racing excitement we sat down with driving legend and Indy 500 winner Danny Sullivan. DANIEL JOHN SULLIVAN III, better known as DANNY SULLIVAN has EARNED 17 WINS IN THE CART INDY CAR WORLD SERIES, INCLUDING THE 1985 INDIANAPOLIS 500. He was a series Champion in 1988, third in 1986, fourth in 1984 and 1985, sixth in 1990 and seventh in 1989 and 1992.

After the racing excitement, and a tour through the Exclusive Thermal Club garage, where the facility houses it’s own race cars for members to check out and ride, we sat down to an amazing night of live entertainment and gourmet food, track-side under the stars.
