Coachella Valley Chef, Michael Beckman, of Palm Springs’ Workshop Kitchen + Bar, cooking at Coachella Festival

Michael Beckman, of Palm Springs’ Workshop Kitchen + Bar, will be cooking at this year’s Outstanding in the Field! The pop-up dinner crew frequently found creating elaborate dinners in sea caves and on rooftop gardens, will return to the festival for 12 dinners in the Rose Garden VIP area.
The same group hosted a series of dinners on both of last year’s festival weekends featuring food from Los Angeles chefs, including Steve Samson (Sotto), Casey Lane (the Tasting Kitchen) and Greg A. Daniels.
This year, there will be two seating’s during each night of the festival, with each dinner priced at $225 per person. Dinners include a four-course meal with a welcome cocktail, beer and wine.

Bruce Kalman (Union) and James Trees (Hutchinson Cocktails & Grill) on April 17th.
Steven Fretz (Church Key) and David Varley (RN74) on April 18th.
Steve Samson (Sotto) and Nicole Rucker (formerly at Gjelina and Gjusta) on April 19th.
