City of Indio Fires Up Flavor and Family Fun at the 10th Annual BBQ Festival

The 10th Annual Indio BBQ Festival returns to Downtown Indio on Saturday, November 8, 2025, from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. This milestone year promises an evening of smoky barbecue, live music, and community spirit—all in the heart of the city. Admission is free, making it one of the most inviting nights out in the Coachella Valley.
A Feast for Every BBQ Fan
The festival features a diverse lineup of BBQ vendors, each serving up their signature flavors. Expect tender brisket, saucy ribs, pulled pork, and more. Whether you’re a serious pitmaster at heart or someone who just loves good food, there’s something here for you.
Music, Games, and Family Fun
Food isn’t the only thing on the menu at the Indio BBQ Festival. Center Stage will showcase live entertainment throughout the evening. Families can enjoy carnival games and jumpers, giving kids their own slice of the fun. Parents, that’s your perfect window for a second—or maybe even a third—plate of ribs.

With COVID-19 cases significantly down, the City Council approved re-opening VillageFest at their last night meeting, with a smaller footprint and safety protocols in place. The street fair is expected to expand to its original length in the coming months. During the summer, VillageFest hours of operation will be 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.
