HALLOWEEN SPOOKTACULAR DRIVE-THRU EVENT | OCTOBER 24

Join the Coachella Valley Autism Society of America (CVASA) and celebrate Halloween during this lively spooktacular event! This drive-thru experience will feature music, goodie bags, giveaways and more. Decorate your car or dress up in costume and enjoy this exciting Halloween celebration from the safety of your vehicle. Attendees will also receive a free pumpkin to participate in a pumpkin decoration craft event via Zoom.

VIRTUAL HALLOWEEN COSTUME CONTEST | OCTOBER 25

Throw on your best costume and join The Palm Desert Sheriff’s Station for a fun virtual costume contest. Participate by sending your costume photo before October 25 and enter for the chance to win. This contest is open to all ages and a photo collage of all entries will be shared in order to showcase all participants’ fabulous costumes.

HALLOWEEN SCAVENGER HUNT | OCTOBER 26-31

Bring the little ones to Palm Desert Civic Center Park for a spooky and fun-filled scavenger hunt. Pick your time slot, get your clue sheet and follow the spooky clues to find the treasure. All children registered for this event will receive plenty of goodies to enjoy this Halloween. 

DRIVE-THRU HAUNTED HOUSE | OCTOBER 29 & 30

Enjoy the ultimate family-friendly Halloween experience from the comfort of your own car – The Family YMCA of the Desert, in partnership with the City of Palm Desert, is hosting a unique event that will allow guests to drive through a Halloween themed course filled with decorations and live characters. Drive by for a night of fun frights!

HOWL-O-WEEN AT THE LIVING DESERT | OCTOBER 31

Stop by The Living Desert Zoo and Gardens this Halloween for a safe and lively Halloween celebration. Dress the little ones up in their favorite costumes and enjoy a socially-distant and family-friendly event. Participate in several activities including a self-guided scavenger hunt, animal encounters and more. Limited spots are available, reservations are encouraged.

HALLOWEEN ARTS & CRAFTS EVENT | OCTOBER 30

Have a fun and creative Halloween with this free event hosted by the Desert Recreation District in Indio. Swing by to pick up your craft kits including two Halloween inspired activities, perfect for getting in the holiday spirit. Although this event is free, registration is encouraged and all kits are available on a first-come, first-served basis. 

TRICK OR TREAT AT THE RIVER | OCTOBER 31

Dress the kiddos in costume and make your way to The River at Rancho Mirage for a fun and safe trick or treating experience. The little ones can showcase their costumes and receive candy from participating businesses.  

BOO!SEUM DRIVE-THRU | OCTOBER 31

Make your way to the Children’s Discovery Museum of the Desert this Halloween for a ghostly drive-thru Halloween experience. Located centrally in Rancho Mirage, CDMOD offers enriching learning and entertainment experiences for children of all ages. This Halloween they will be hosting a safe drive-thru experience for the little ones to enjoy and get in the spooky spirit of the holiday. 

DRIVE-IN MOVIE SCREENING: 12 HOUR SHIFT | OCTOBER 30 & 31

The Palm Springs Cultural Center will be hosting a screening of the 2020 black comedy thriller film,12 Hour Shift, directed by Brea Grant, as part of their ongoing Cinema Under the Stars drive-in theatre experience. Popcorn and snacks will be sold, and radios will be available for rent.  Enjoy a thrilling Halloween night with this fun movie screening!
