Comic Con Palm Springs Volunteer Registration Ending August 5th!

REGISTRATION CLOSES AUGUST 5th!!
Comic Con Palm Springs is looking for individuals with a background in customer service. The actions of each and every volunteer reflect directly upon Comic Con Palm Springs (CCPS), and our goal is to provide a positive experience for all attendees. Should you be selected as a volunteer, this must be your first goal, above all others.

When not on assignment, volunteers get to enjoy all that CCPS has to offer, with the same privileges of a paying attendee.
Signing up does not guarantee that you will be selected as a volunteer at CCPS. Instead, it’s simply your way of telling CCPS that your interested in volunteering and agreeing to the requirements of a volunteer.
REQUIREMENTS:
All volunteer applicants MUST be available to work at least two (2) out of the three days, with a minimum of six (6) hours on each day. The more important the role, the more time it will demand.
All volunteer applicants will be put through a criminal background check.
All volunteer applicants must be 18 or older.
PERKS:
Volunteers will receive a badge allowing them free entry for the entire three days.
Volunteers will receive a CCPS Staff T-shirt.
Volunteering this year will get you first dibs at volunteer badges next year.
Although we are unable to provide housing, travel, or meals for our CCPS volunteers, we’re sure you’ll meet new people, make new friends, and have a ton of fun!
Online volunteer registration fills up very quickly, so please be sure to check your email frequently for announcement!
Just like with general attendee badges, volunteer badges are highly in demand, and it’s possible that CCPS could close registration at any time, so plan on signing up early, and keep an eye on any e-mail updates. Sign up today.

Watch Now Live- Happening Tonight – Palm Springs VillageFest, the City’s wildly popular street fair which prior to the COVID-19 pandemic, was held every Thursday night in downtown, will return on Thursday, July 1. Coachella Valley!
With COVID-19 cases significantly down, the City Council approved re-opening VillageFest at their last night meeting, with a smaller footprint and safety protocols in place. The street fair is expected to expand to its original length in the coming months. During the summer, VillageFest hours of operation will be 7 p.m. – 10 p.m.
