Cathedral City Public Library to Reopen October 5th

City of Cathedral City

Riverside County has notified the City of Cathedral City that it plans to reopen the Cathedral City Public Library on Monday, October 5, 2020.
The reopening was permitted by Riverside County moving from the most restrictive Purple Tier to the less restrictive Red Tier as coronavirus cases have begun to subside.
The library will have modifications such as no more than 50% capacity limits at any one given time.
The reopening can be attributed to all our residents doing their part by wearing a facial covering when outside of your immediate household and around others as well as social distancing. These two tools in our toolbox have proven to help slow the spread and allow businesses and service the opportunity to reopen.
Remember to wash your hands often especially before eating, drinking, and/or touching your face.
