On Sunday, October 26, 2025, the 61st Annual Palm Desert Golf Cart Parade takes over El Paseo with a day full of star power, sky-high thrills, and community celebration.

Led by Hockey Hall of Famer Grant Fuhr, this year’s parade kicks off with breathtaking flyovers, parachuters, and more than 100 dazzling entries—from creative golf carts and classic cars to marching bands, cheer squads, and high-energy dance troupes. Add in delicious food, a lively kids’ zone, and an after party to remember, and you’ve got one of the Coachella Valley’s most anticipated family events of the year.

This year’s parade promises even more excitement with a special Grand Marshal leading the way: Hockey Hall of Famer Grant Fuhr. A five-time Stanley Cup Champion with the Edmonton Oilers and the first Black goaltender to reach superstar status in the NHL, Fuhr is celebrated worldwide for both his talent and trailblazing legacy. Adding local flair is Tim O’Brien, NBC Sports personality and longtime Coachella Valley favorite, who will bring his signature energy to the parade.

The Day’s Events Start at 8:00 am – Vendors 9:00 am Parade at 12:00 pm

The day begins in the sweetest way possible—with the Rotary Club Pancake Breakfast at 8 a.m. From there, the festivities bloom into a desert-sized carnival. At 9 a.m., marketplace booths open, food trucks and vendors fire up their grills, the beer garden begins pouring, and the Kids & Family Fun Zone comes alive. Classic cars and custom golf carts gleam in the sun, creating the perfect warm-up to the big show.

At noon sharp, all eyes turn skyward as the Palm Springs Air Museum flyover sends a rush of adrenaline down the avenue. Parachuters descend dramatically onto the parade route, officially opening the spectacle. Vintage cars and golf carts lead the way, followed by more than 100 dazzling entries—floats decked in glittering themes, high-energy marching bands, spirited cheer squads, and dance troupes bursting with rhythm. The scene is pure California magic, wrapped in small-town charm and desert sparkle.

And when the last float rolls by, the fun doesn’t end. At 2 p.m., Hotel Paseo hosts the After Party, complete with live music, food, and plenty of celebration for paradegoers of all ages.
