Ezra Callahan, the sixth employee of Facebook, is now investing in Greater Palm Springs. His 32-room contemporary hotel, ARRIVE, is slated to open in spring 2015 in the north end of the Uptown Design District in Palm Springs. Meticulously designed by Chris Pardo, ARRIVE Palm Springs will feature an open floor plan, a luxurious wet room and an abundance of natural light.
More than half of the room will have private patios facing the pool, with outdoor fireplaces and daybeds. Collaborator Knitting Factory Entertainment (KFE), which features live music venues in cities such as Brooklyn, Los Angeles and Spokane, will create a series of poolside music events at ARRIVE Palm Springs throughout the year. www.arrivehotels.com
