7th Annual Run with Los Muertos 5K & Block Party is unique and authentic…

The 7th Annual Run with Los Muertos 5K & Block Party is a unique and authentic Dia de Los Muertos evening celebration that will take place in Old Town Coachella.

The evening includes a traditional day of the dead processional, live music, a craft zone, art walk, and beer garden.

This art, health, and culture event draws attendees from all over the Coachella Valley and beyond, with some runners coming from as far away as Canada, Mexico, and the East Coast.

Event goers can view large-scale interactive art installations, Dia de Los Muertos altars, choose from the many delicious local food vendors, have a beer, or dance at one live music stages.

Part of the Run with Los Muertos tradition is to dedicate your run in honor of a loved one who has passed away. “Who will you run for”?

The race route is a flat and fast course, securely blocked from all traffic and well-lit from start to finish with water stations and mile markers along the way.

Pre-race ceremony begins at 5 p.m., race starts at 6 p.m., and the live entertainment, beer garden, and art installations are open until midnight.
