A champion was crowned today at The American Express in beautiful La Quinta, Ca.
The American Express has a winner…

Hudson Swafford’s nine-birdie final round wins him the American Express.
Hudson Swafford wins The American Express shooting 8-under on the day and 23-under on the week to win by 2 strokes over Tom Hoge.

This is Swafford’s 3rd win on the PGA TOUR and his first win since the Corales Puntacana Resort and Club Championship in 2020. This is also Swafford’s second time winning The American Express, with the first time coming back in 2017.
Next week the TOUR moves to San Diego, CA for the Farmer’s Insurance Open at Torrey Pines South Course where Patrick Reed will be trying to defend his 2021 title.


After 3 Rounds, co-leaders Lee Hodges and Paul Barjon (18-under-par 198), Tom Hoge (3; 17-under 199), Seamus Power (4; 16-under 200), and Harry Higgs, Hudson Swafford, Lanto Griffin, Cameron Young, Francesco Molinari, and Harold Varner III (T5; 15-under 201) all will be vying for the PGA Tour crown a the Million $ Payout!
