Coachella Valley did you know George Lopez has a residence in La Quinta? #coachellavalley #laquinta
After years of coming to the Desert and staying at the La Quinta Resort and Hotel, he decided to buy his own home here 18 months ago. He’s hoping to play a round of golf in the Coachella Valley before performing his stand-up act next Saturday at Fantasy Springs Resort Casino.
Lopez, 53, is returning to the Coachella Valley this week with an emphasis on the positive. After becoming a television star on his long-running ABC sitcom “The George Lopez Show,” his TNT late-night talk show “Lopez Tonight” and, the recently-canceled FX series “Saint George.”
Lopez also served two years as host of the Bob Hope Chrysler Classic, following the 2003 death of Bob Hope. He now hosts his own charity golf tournament in Toluca Lake to raise funds for his foundation, which supports organ donation and the spread of information about kidney disease, among other things. https://www.georgelopez.com/
