The Libation Room is the newest bar on El Paseo in Palm Desert
Set to open today, Friday, at the El Paseo Shopping District in Palm Desert, this Gatsbyesq nightclub is like one “long catwalk,” says owner Barry Gilinsky. Think dark velvet walls, and shiny crystal chandeliers.
Here’s a list of Libation Room’s current specials:
- Sunday: Classic movie night
- Tuesday: Industry night
- Wednesday: Oyster night
- Thursday: Ladies night
- Happy hour: Tuesday through Saturday, 4:30-6:30 p.m.
Gilinsky says the lounge’s entire renovation took just four months, transforming the El Paseo space into a speakeasy “with a modern twist.” It’s decor is a mix of Las Vegas commingled with New York City.
Order a cold-pressed juice flight topped with botanical vodka from organic restaurant Wildest Greens, or enjoy a series of tapas offerings with your classic cocktail, beer or wine.
You can also enjoy the juke box with a built-in photo booth. DJs nightly will include Annie ‘Femme A’ Flores and Zephyr.
