INDIO, CA — The 2021 Riverside County Fair & National Date Festival, originally set for Feb. 12-21 at the Riverside County Fairgrounds in Indio, has been canceled county officials said Friday.
Officials said the fairgrounds are scheduled to continue being used in the county’s efforts to stop COVID-19 until the end of the year, which presented planning issues for staff.
The fair is expected to return in 2022, which will be its 75th anniversary.
