THE CHILDREN’S DISCOVERY MUSEUM OF THE DESERT PRESENTS THE 13^TH ANNUAL DISCOVERY HOME TOUR – FEBRUARY 8

Don’t miss the chance to explore some of the most unique and beautiful homes in Rancho Mirage while raising money for the Children’s Discovery Museum of the Desert (CDMOD) at the 13^th Annual Discovery Home Tour on Sunday, February 8. Tickets for the Discovery Home Tour are $65 each (must be 12 or older). The tour, which is self-guided, is from 9 a.m. to 5 p.m.

 The museum’s 13^th Annual Discovery Home Tour is presented in partnership with the American Society of Interior Designers. Each of the five stunning homes on the tour was thoughtfully selected by a local designer, who will be on hand in each of the homes to answer questions.

 “We encourage everyone to get their tickets soon, as this is a popular event,” said Betsy Adamson, Executive Director of the Children’s Discovery Museum of the Desert. “Our Discovery Home Tour is an important event for us, having raised over half a million dollars in preceding years. We appreciate all of the support we get from the community and know this year’s event is going to be well attended.”

 Funds from the Discovery Home Tour support educational programming and aid in the museum’s Helping Hand scholarship program. The CDMOD is the only place of its kind for hands-on learning in the Coachella Valley.

 The Children’s Discovery Museum of the Desert’s 13^th Annual Discovery Home Tour is presented in partnership with the American Society of Interior Designers and sponsored by Palm Springs Life.
