Interactive Art and Education – Art Park of the Desert!
Did you know an exciting new ART PARK OF THE DESERT is planned for Old Town La Quinta? The Capital Campaign is launched and over $800,000 has been raised already! Imagine an interactive art and education center offering art experiences in all mediums from performing arts to visual arts, kiln-based arts, culinary arts and other forms of art expression. Participation and collaboration with local artists and art organizations across the valley will be encouraged Victory Grund envisions what will be an art campus where people can discover and grow their creative talents.

The Art Park of the Desert

“This is my dream; it’s a big dream,” the founder of the nonprofit Old Town Artisan Studio says. In December, the nonprofit studio made a deal to purchase 1.16 acres of vacant city-owned land situated between Avenidas Montezuma and Villa to the north and south and Avenidas Navarro and Mendoza on the east and west. The studio is now in the process of raising the estimated $5.5 million to build the “Art Park of the Desert,” which would feature a 10,800-square-foot arts and education center and interactive art park.
