HOT DOG EATING CHAMPIONSHIP at AUGUSTINE CASINO
On July 3, Augustine Casino will host its 2nd annual Half-Pound Hot Dog Eating Championship. Contestants will go bun-to-bun to see who can eat two half-pound Menyikish signature Angus beef hot dogs the fastest. The winner will walk away with the Championship trophy and $1,000 Cash.
“Fourth of July weekend is about celebrating this great country,” said Jef Bauer, General Manager.
We’re doing it with a fun, old fashioned, American hot dog-eating contest. We’re excited to meet our contestants and honored to celebrate our military, active duty and retired.”
As part of the festivities, from 5 pm to 7 pm, Augustine will be offering a FREE hot dog at Menyikish Bar and Grill to any active or retired military guests with a valid Uniformed Services ID and an Augustine Avantage card (membership is free). All new club members are guaranteed to win $10 – $25 in Free Play- just for signing up.
Prospective competitive eaters must earn entries to participate in the hot dog-eating competition. Every 25 points earned on their Advantage Card will equal one entry into the drawing. Entries can be earned June 1 – July 3. Win bonus entries June 21 – July 3 by playing a fun, interactive game on the casino’s promotional kiosks.
On July 3, all potential contestants must check-in for the drawing at 4pm. Contestants will be drawn for a chance to win a seat at the table at 5:30pm. Hot Dog Championship begins at 6pm on the main stage.
