Exclusive Interview with World Famous Artist Angelina Christina

by Phillip Carrillo

As a local resident here in the Coachella Valley I have recently been doing tons of photo shoots and interviews with artists. I was lucky to be able to film this past weekend with world famous artist Angelina Christina, who was doing a mural here in downtown Palm Springs at Bar on Palm Canyon Drive.

Originally from Venice, California, Angelina Christina  (also known as StarFightera on Instagram) is known for her massive visuals that depict her life experiences, spirituality, and creativity into one giant piece.

I first heard of this amazing artist from a friend who’s family happens to own the 86 Meat & Liquor store where she made her mark in the Salton Sea and on me as well.

When I heard she was in town and the moon and stars aligned. I took no time to hesitate!  I caught up with the beautiful, talented and world famous muralist who is no stranger to the Coachella Valley, finishing up another sick piece of artwork with her buddy Alex Pesante at BAR downtown Palm Springs.

In the interview Angelina shares with me she’s headed out to L.A in the morning to work on another huge mural commissioned by the Academy of Motion Pictures, Arts, And Sciences. Keep Your Eyes On This Artist !

Hope you enjoy!
